New Stable iso with plasma-login?

Is there any plan to release soon the new stable iso with plasma-login?

plasma-login-manager is still only in the release-candidate stage, and will only be officially released in Plasma 6.6. Therefore, until Plasma 6.6 hits the Stable branch, plasma-login-manager is still considered “unstable”/“unfinished”, and therefore it is not eligible for inclusion in a Stable ISO.

Will it eventually happen? Yes. But not any day soon. KDE themselves are only going to be releasing Plasma 6.6 later this month, and then it usually still takes some time — anything from weeks to a month — before it percolates down into Manjaro Stable. And when it does, then the new ISO will be released.

That all said, it is trivial to replace sddm with plasma-login-manager, whether you’re on a fresh installation or on an older system that has been kept up-to-date.

I’m already with plasma-login and it works well for me.
Just I ask because I’ve to do an installation on a new notebook but I’ve no time to wait so long, so I will proceed with the latest stable and replace sddm after.

Ditto. But apparently there are people who’ve got problems with it. :man_shrugging:
