Network monitor(panel toolbar) is not working

Hi there,
I m noob to Linux so forgive me for asking silly doubts,i m using xfce on my machine , added the toolbar of Network monitor from panel,but its not showing any values, even though i m using internet.

Try this:
go to network monitor plugin settings and enter wlp0s29u1u2 under Network device field.
