I have set up a NordVPN connection in Network Manager, which works, but the “Automatically connect to VPN when using this connection” option is greyed out. Therefore I have to manually connect with the systray tool. This is a minor inconvenience, but I would prefer to automate it. The Arch wiki entry - https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/NordVPN#Automatic_connection_to_the_VPN - thinks this option should be available. I have tried nmtui, but it does not know about my vpn connection.
I looked at the top of the page - https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/NordVPN#Installation and found the nordvpn-bin way of going about it. I’ll find out when I restart, but this looks like a far better solution, as it will hook up to the best server for my country.
