I think I misclicked it while I was using my phone, still not solved. I’m going to get a wifi adapter in a few days since I finally connected to the ethernet and none of the solutions seem to be working. I’ll update you soon, sorry.
Another question, are adapters labelled netgear or asus linux compatible?
You need the actual device - not the branding.
For example … this wifi usb dongle is a ‘netgear’ product but is actually a realtek device:
