My network button seems to be missing from the taskbar
(Im talking about this button here btw)
Ive tried looking around the configuration for the panel, but cannot seem to find out how to add it back.
Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks 
You seem to be missing the Notification Area (or systray) plugin from your panel.
Right click on the panel → Add New Items → find it in the list of available plugins → add it in the panel.
