Nerd fonts are not displayed on terminal (XFCE)

Hello,

New to Manjaro here. I installed nerd fonts and I’m using oh-my-zsh with norm theme. It was working fine until I had to restart and then I stopped seeing the special characters in the terminal.

I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. None of the icons seem to be working on the terminal. Where should I be looking ? Please help.

I resolved this by deleting oh-my-zsh. I didn’t reinstall it because I now want to try kitty as a terminal.

Most stuff you wanted to do with oh-my-zsh can be done without - just a bit of research and you’ll be fine.

I started using Kitty because some stuff - like pyradio - use colour schemes not compatible with konsole.

Also, if you’re using zsh with powerline, look into using fish with the tide prompt.
