After this update neither Google Chrome or Microsoft edge starts. Firefox does works

But really … probably … you dont realize that AUR packages need to be rebuilt against current libraries …

Are there any errors running the affected programs from the terminal?

In the case of chrome now I know its because I am on KDE wayland, and I was forcing wayland on chrome, so after the latest updates chrome on wayland no longer works. I tried it forcing x11 and it works properly that way.
