Hello everyone,
I regularly remove my Lenovo X1 Carbon 6th Gen from the docking station. If I click it back on the docking station after 1 hour, the LAN connection is no longer activated. I have to restart the NB so that the network is active again.
Is there another easier way to enable the network (LAN) without having to restart the NB?
Re-Activate the connection profile again? Restart NetworkManager.service ? That is the easy way.
Thank you! Now I clicked off the NB again and clicked it again correctly. Apparently that was the problem! So it was because the notebook was misunderstood when it was placed on the slanted docking station.
