Ok, lets assume it didnt get rolled back, and users reporting ‘newer than’ in the package manager are the result of switching branches…
Why is it older than the version in Stable ?
Column 1 | Column 2 |
---|---|
Stable | 2022.11.02.r102.gbb94603-1 |
Testing | 2020.10.10-2 |

already answered that. see previous post. the package got forwarded as an to stable branch to fix an issue, but not to testing. Sync packages were versioned in both branches as 2020.10.10-2
I dont know how you already answered it, but thanks, this does I guess.

Version numbers dont answer why.
They are the reason I asked why.
This does (vaguely) answer why. Though it invites other questions.
Sync packages on both branches:
nano-syntax-highlighting 2020.10.10-2
Overlay package in Stable:
nano-syntax-highlighting 2022.11.02.r102.gbb94603-1
Pulled update: [manjaro-packages] [BoxIt] Memo (x64)
got it now? The website only shows the final packages set not what is in which folder.
