Nvidia graphics is notorious for giving Problems - especially in a rolling distro like Manjaro.

OP system has GT 730 GPU but was using nouveau driver in a previous topic instead of
video-nvidia-470xx driver

I have NVIDIA GK208B [GeForce GT 730] on my system with video-nvidia-470xx

GRUB’s non-free option only supports latest nvidia drivers so legacy drivers must be installed after installing with free drivers

If you have installed video-nvidia-470xx and need to configure resolution or refresh rate

Configure NVIDIA (non-free) settings and load them on Startup - Manjaro

1. Open your terminal and enter the following command:

sudo nvidia-settings

2. Change resolution and refresh rate in ‘X Server Display Configuration’ tab.

3. Hit the ‘Save to X Configuration File’ button and save to /etc/X11/mhwd.d/nvidia.conf

4. Now enter the following command into the terminal to complete the process:

sudo mhwd-gpu --setmod nvidia --setxorg /etc/X11/mhwd.d/nvidia.conf

As far as I know there have been no issues with GT 730 and legacy driver

… and I don’t know either - I just constantly read about problems people have with Nvidia
It’s likely a distorted view of reality, because those without problems do not post here …
I don’t have Nividia hardware myself - zero experience with it.

I have no idea what that might mean

I knew and used Antergos
and EOS afterwards -
both where and are essentially Arch with some pre-configuration
more easy and less time consuming to deploy
but I never had Nvidia hardware …

Manjaro is the only Linux distribution that I know of that has a non-free option in GRUB to use latest nVidia proprietary drivers (linux-nvidia) on a Live ISO

There is a character at the end of the line → `
which does not belong there and makes the command fail.

Try without that.

Did you reboot after (apparently sucessfully) installing the proprietary Nvidia driver?
