Thanks for your reply. Switched to 6.12.4-1 but the problem still persists.

I cannot say for Xfce - I am not familiar with the interface but I would check the output of

wpctl status

and

pactl info

to get hints from the system.

To see if it is a general issue, I booted lastes 24.2.1 ISO on a ThinkPad X13 AMD.

It has the same audio device with GPU being Radeon 780M.

I cannot reproduce your issue as the built-in system mic works OOB - so it must be a local configuration issue.

And don’t say - it used to work - you already did that… - I have absolutely no idea why it is not working on your system - one idea is an accidental mute of the mic. On my ThinkPad FnF4 is a hotkey to mute the mic - you likely have something similar for your device.

Uing the volume icon in the system tray you can click Audio Mixer → navigate to Input Devices - you should be able to work it out from there.
