My device doesn't play videos properly

Hi everyone,
Whenever I try to stream a video with a browser, the frames drop and it lags.
The same thing also happens for a few seconds after playing a local video on a vide player. (I tried a lot of video players, and it happens all the time).
Another related issue is that whenever I have a video paused on a video player while my laptops sleeps, after waking the laptop up, the video player’s screen shows a flickered picture, instead of the proper image!
Could you please help me?
