MPC Sample Firmware Not Updating on Browser

Greetings All,

I’m posting a solution to a firmware update problem with the AKAI MPC Sample and KDE Plasma.
I was not able to update firmware through: mpc-sample.local on any browser.

My Solution:

  1. Connect MPC Sample to your computer via USB and turn it on
  2. Add another wired connection and restrict it to, in my case, USB0 (save the connection)
  3. Open any browser and start a private window session, for good measure
  4. type in the address bar: mpc-sample.local
  5. Update as usual
