Mouse pointer size?

It is small, how do I up the size. I went to Gnome tweaks, nothing on size.

Settings > Accessibility > Seeing > Cursor Size

Didn’t work, in X I guess. Where do I choose to boot to Wayland? Gnome is more fitting for a mobile desktop. It looks just right for the Pine phone.

In the Login Screen, GDM, down in the rigth corner, there is a „settings“ menu to choose „Gnome on wayland“ or „Gnome on X11“ being visible after you select the username.
If you have auto logon enabled you just need to logout once. GDM will remember the setting for the next login

In GNOME you should open Gnome Tweaks, if you have a hi-res display…

You can go to the Fonts tab, and adjust the Scaling Factor to make fonts larger.

You can look in Gnome Settings for Adjust Display Scaling… under the ‘Display’ section.

Maybe a scale of 200% could work for a 4k display.

In Gnome Tweaks, there should also be a CURSOR section - assuming you’re using the default cursor… I installed my own, there is only one size.
