Mouse hitting invisible boundary while moving down to dock

I have a following problem.
I start my notebook - everything is fine.
Then I attach it to dock station to which a monitor is plugged in.
The system is shown on monitor and notebook screen as configured (extended configuration). Still everything looks fine.
Now on the monitor if I try to move mouse to the bottom to reach the dock with applications icons then mouse gets stuck on some virtual boundary about 1/5 of screen from the bottom and I have to move with the mouse again to go over this boundary. This is permanent problem until I do the reboot.
When notebook boots with monitor already plugged in then this problem is not present.

Any idea?
