Monitor won't wake up if a application via Wine is running

So I execute a game manager via Wine/Proton and leave the PC. After a while I come back and hear that the PC is still running, however the monitor has been switched to standby. When I use the mouse or keyboard nothing happens. The monitor is still in standby mode. I am able to press CTRL + ALT + F3 to use another tty and there the monitor wakes up. Then pressing CTRL + ALT + F1 the monitor is still awake and I see the gnome login screen. As soon as I enter my password and hit enter, the monitor goes in standby mode again.

I don’t know if I have a bad timing only then if I run an application via Wine/Proton or if this is related to it. Maybe we can bring some light to it and fix it.
