Monitor flickers (goes blank every so many minutes and then come backs in a few seconds)

I have had this issue since I installed Manjaro more than a year ago.

I’m using a thunderbolt dock station with two monitors. The problem always happens with the same monitor. I’ve swapped the cables already. Also, this does not happen with other laptops or with this laptop when I boot into Windows (yeah, I have some software that requires me to keep windows!).

I have read several articles during the last year, without any luck getting the issue fixed.

Any ideas of what I can try?

I finally resolved this by switching to Fedora. No more monitor flickering now.
