Today I updated all my applications after a quite long time running pacman -Syu
, pamac update -a
and snap refresh
. Everything went fine so far, but now my external display keeps disconnecting when opening some specific applications (such as IntelliJ Idea) or performing some actions (for example watching a video, pretty much everything that needs some performance). After a few seconds the display will re-connect, but then disconnect again the next time an application is opened / some actions are performed.
This screen is connected via USB-C Adapter (HDMI). My other external screen that is connected just via HDMI has no problem at all. If I connect the working screen to the USB-C adapter it will show the same behavior. So something about the USB-C connection might be off.
I read through some threads and added i915.enable_psr=0
to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT
in /etc/default/grub (and ran sudo update-grub
), which did not change anything.
I also switched my Kernel back to 5.10 which did not help.
At this point I do not know what to do further, any help would be appreciated
Here is my inxi -v 8
