Missing Stable-Update announcments

If I go to stable-updates or announcements categories, the 2024-07-16 and 2024-07-01 Stable Update topics do not appear. I have noticed this before and just shrugged it off as a weird one-off issue. But it is happening more and wondering what do I need to do to see Stable Update Announcments in chronological order.

They do for me…

Threads are not shown in the chronological order of creation, but in the chronological order of most recently edited or appended to.

Sometimes a new Announcements thread gets posted before the previous one was officially closed, and then any staff member may decide to close the previous thread at whatever point in time, depending on what staff members are online at what time of the day, how busy they are elsewhere on the forum, and how committed they personally are to keeping the forum tidy.

This may thus result in the chronological order of those Announcements threads appearing “off” at any given moment.

Cannot reproduce.

Do you have yours set on ‘Unread’ instead of ‘Latest’ or using specific tags something ?

I forget how I did it, but I get an email with a new Stable Update Notifications is set to normal, so there must be another feature some where to turn on the email.

The big clue should have been, it only happend when I was logged in.

When I was logged in, I did not see all Topics. Now I know those Topics had Tags.

A while back I set Muted in my Profile > Preferences > Tracking.
