Missing Intel Meteor Lake Drivers

Hello all!

I recently got my hands on a meteor lake based laptop and installed Manjaro on it, but it doesn’t seem to have any of the needed drivers for audio, WiFi, and Bluetooth to function.

Audio seems to be handled by an independent section of the processor and settings reports it as “Dummy Output”, and my wireless/bluetooth card is an Intel AX411NGW.

I found a couple of other forums on here but most of them are dead ends except for one where a user mentioned that the drivers were left out of the current kernel and they created a custom kernel with the drivers that were missing. I’m not sure how to do that and the user is no longer on the forums, so I’m SOL.

Here are my inxi -Fazy results, I’m hoping these will help!

This has been corrected for you in this instance;
In future, please tend to this yourself.

I’m sure someone will help when they are able.

Welcome to the Manjaro community

As a new or infrequent forum user, please take some time to familiarise yourself with Forum requirements, and the many ways to use the forum to your benefit:

Update Announcements

The Update Announcements contain important information and a Known Issues and Solutions section that should generally be checked before posting a request for support.

System Information

While information from *-fetch type apps might be fine for someone wishing to buy your computer, for Support purposes it’s better to ask your system directly; :eyes:

Output of the inxi command with appropriate parameters will achieve this (naturally, formatted according to forum guidelines) and will generally be more useful for those wishing to help:

inxi --filter --verbosity=8

or the short form:

inxi -zv8

Be prepared to provide output from other commands whenever asked. It’s equally important to provide as much actionable information as possible in your first post, rather than simply indicating there is a problem.

Technical Resources

Please include the full inxi - not just audio and network parts:
inxi -zv8

It might be due to an older kernel when (for instance) the ISO you used to install from was not a recent one.
Or just install a newer kernel and try with that.

Dummy Output is created by PipeWire if there is no audio device available for playback
