Hi,

I am missing some of my desktop effects like wobbly windows and such, Not sure how they went missing or how to retrieve them.

Ensure you’re not using XRender backend. Some effects, including wobbly windows, do require OpenGL.

No I checked that already and I am using OpenGL 3.1

Thank you for that, I am not sure what I was thinking at the time. I was trying to put the three ``` but I messed up on doing that. I re-enabled compositor and rebooted. That didn’t fix anything.

Can you verify that a theme update didn’t turn the wobbly windows off?

  • Go to System Settings
  • Type effec
  • Click on Desktop Effects
  • Type wo
  • Verify “Wobbly Windows” is still on as per below screenshot:

If not, turn it back on.

Yeah it wasn’t there. I had to reinstall Manjaro to get it back

You should have said that before re-installing as you can download individual plug-ins for the KDE compositor… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: :crazy_face:
