Misinterpreted warnings

Problem during update. I haven’t rebooted yet. I have:

Warning (I can fix it with /etc/default/grub):

Before the update it was: os-prober: disabled

There is nothing to fix – the warning is informational only:

os-prober disabled (Upstream default):

  • #GRUB_DISABLE_OS_PROBER=false: Commented
    (if commented or omitted, the default condition applies)

os-prober enabled (Manjaro default):

  • GRUB_DISABLE_OS_PROBER=false: Uncommented
    (uncommenting the line enables os-prober)

Again, this is only an informational warning. Many (especially more recent) devices are “too new” to be identified, so a warning is triggered. In the case of the NVMe, the device is still recognised as storage and continues to function.
