Before the update, I didn’t need to scroll down to reach “Recent Files” below “Administration” (see screenshot below). I tried to fix this by removing menu items but this makes the menu even smaller. This annoys me because “Recent Files” is the only menu item I use often, yet it is the last one on the menu.
Click on the top edge of the menu and drag it up.
