So I was running kernel 5.4 and my pacakage manager suggested to update it to 5.10 so i thought oka but after updating my mic dosent work i tried to shift back to 5.4 but mic still doesnt works plz anyone can help me??
If you only changed kernel, then try the fallback kernel. There it will detect all devices again instead rely on the cache.

btw my latop mic is working only my earphone mic is not working
A problem with a laptop headset jack might be specific to your specific laptop model
