My microphone started acting up all of sudden by picking up the audio in my headphones, even with the mic physically muted. I noticed the issue in OBS and checked Discord to notice it’s a widespread problem. I use a headset that requires a split cable for the mic and line out, which pulseaudio sets up as “Analog Stereo Duplex”.
I made no changes to configuration files and have tried resetting pulseaudio to make sure everything is set to defaults; this hasn’t solved the problem.
