Many Kwin/opengl errors in log

Hi.

I have many entries of kwin errors in my journal.

PinebookPro, kernel 6.9.3, kde 6.1.4, wayland, mesa 24.1.6 manjaro unstable branch.

Often 10-20 entries per second.
The system actually works and I can’t see any impact, except for the huge amount of journal entries per second.

Does anyone have an idea how this could be solved ?

To answer my own question.
I discovered that I had some old config in /etc/environment to help alacrity run as that needed GLES 3.3 which was not supported by Panfrost. Whatever changed, there was no issue anymore to just remove the config, alacrity still works and the constant error disappeared.

Yup - it pays to create a new USER and log in to test if errors are SYSTEM or PEBCAK related.
