I dual booted manjaro with my existing linux mint system
now i have one small issue, i am able to open manjaro only in fallback mode
mint still works in all modes
any idea on how to resolve this?
Have you rebuilt your initramfs?
# mkinitcpio -P
Perhaps you are using BIOS/MBR and the bootloader installed to the MBR - sharing it with Mint?
Due to subtle differences with the grub implementation - Manjaro does not always play well with other Linux distributions - especially not Debian based distros.
Before you jump to conclusions on what to do - please check if you are using MBR and then check your grub versions.

when your system is running - list the contents of the efivars folder - if it exist - then you are running EFI
