I just noticed that the bmw demo on Manjaro runs at 3:14 while on Windows at 3:48, that’s 15% better performance at Linux! What sorcery is this? 5600X at stock settings. Same boost clock on both systems but runs significantly better on Linux.
Comparing peaches to oranges - same color - different content.
Windows has an army of developers + the fact that it runs on 85% of the worlds desktop computersystems.

Fair point but I am just curious on why it runs so much better on Linux. I am surprised in a positive way to be honest.
Possible theories include Linux’s better CPU scheduling, or better optimised compilers, or both.
