I suspect something is wrong in your system (not your user), maybe SDDM issue.

  • Check which AUR packages you have installed:
pacman -Qm
  • Check pacdiff
pacdiff -o

I found that the loading issue doesn’t exist when not having my LAN cable plugged into my laptop, so I suppose something is wrong on that end.
