I just downloaded manjaro KDE. I opened up pamac(add or remove software) and did a system update. Now when grub shows up(It works fine) and when i select manjaro i just see the asus logo screen and it stays like that forever.
I found a workaround to make it boot by pressing ctrl+alt+f5(to bring up terminal) and pressing ctrl+alt+f5 again to bring up the login screen
My laptop is ASUS Vivobook Gaming with core i5 8th gen and an NVIDIA GTX 1650 graphics card.
What could be the issue and how can i solve it?
Things i tried:
- Use 5.4 LTS version of kernel
- using the following commands on terminal
sudo pacman -Syyu haveged
sudo systemctl enable haveged --now
This are the current versions of stuff i have installed
