If there are no sound devices present at all with both pulseaudio and pipewire and an update caused it then the first thing you should probably try is using the next older kernel.
Sure, but I couldn’t really find out what broke it.
Today I updated the system, installed manjaro-pipewire, pavucontrol, plasma-pa, restarted the machine, and everything worked just fine.
