Manjaro is not recognizing my Nvidia GTX 1650 ti

so did you rebooted? it looks like nothing was removed…
provide output from:
cat /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-nvidia.conf
cat /etc/modprobe.d/ec_sys.conf
cat /etc/modprobe.d/isw-ec_sys.conf
cat /etc/modprobe.d/mhwd-gpu.conf

Yeah, i rebooted before, and i just rebooted again just in case and ran the command you previously told me to and had the same output.
Here’s the output to the cat /ect/… command:

# Automatically generated by EnvyControl

blacklist nvidia_modeset

so delete this one:
sudo rm /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-nvidia.conf
install nvidia drivers:
sudo mhwd -a pci nonfree 0300
reboot and post again output from:
mhwd -l && mhwd -li

Ok, before i reboot, i just want to ask, i ran the sudo mhwd… command, and got this output, is this normal?

> Skipping already installed config 'video-linux' for device: 0000:00:02.0 (0300:8086:9bc4) Display controller Intel Corporation CometLake-H GT2 [UHD Graphics]

yes you have already installed the video linux drivers for your intel gpu

Ok thats good, so i just rebooted, here’s the output:

nothing is installed …
post output from:
pacman -Qs 'nvidia|bumblebee|optimus|bbswitch|envycontrol
pamac list -qm

I ran that command and it doesnt show any output, i just get a “>” and nothing else

theres a typo in the first command:
pacman -Qs 'nvidia|bumblebee|optimus|bbswitch|envycontrol'
pamac list -qm

Oh, ok here’s the output then

you installed probably every package related to switching between gpus… remove this:
pamac remove prime prime-gpuchooser
reboot and provide again output from:
mhwd -l && mhwd -li

Yeah, i had come to a point where i just didnt know what to do anymore, so i just started downloading every single thing that had to do with gpu switching, which looking back at it was not a good idea lol.
Here’s the ouput after a reboot:

Warning: No installed USB configs!

its still not detected!!
do you remember what you installed?
post output from:
pacman -Qs 'offload|switch|gpu|prime'

From what i remember, i had installed bumblebee, optimus, and then recently prime, but i might have installed something else related to gpu, not sure.
Here’s the ouput:

local/libplacebo 4.208.0-1
Reusable library for GPU-accelerated video/image rendering primitives
local/mhwd-amdgpu 19.1.0-1
    MHWD module-ids for amdgpu
local/python-pyamdgpuinfo 2.1.3-2
    AMD GPU stats
local/usb_modeswitch 2.6.1-3
Activating switchable USB devices on Linux.
local/xf86-video-amdgpu 22.0.0-1 (xorg-drivers)
    X.org amdgpu video driver
local/xfce4-xkb-plugin 0.8.3-1 (xfce4-goodies)
Plugin to switch keyboard layouts for the Xfce4 panel

why do you have installed this: python-pyamdgpuinfo, since you dont have any amdgpu… you can remove it:
pamac remove python-pyamdgpuinfo

search in your root for the following:
bumblebee, envycontrol, optimus
and delete the folders/files, except the optimus one, results from optimus post here

Ok so i removed the pyamdgpuinfo, and in my root i had an envycontrol directory, which i removed, i also have a file named “ui_gpuchooser.py” should i delete that too? Also, i do not see any files/directories related to optimus on my root.

yes delete that gpuchooser too… also search for bbswitch … if it didnt find anything, you can reboot, and post again output from:
mhwd -l

Ok, there was nothing related to bbswitch so i rebooted, here’s the output:

well nothing, nvidia is not being detected…
is nvidia disabled in bios? you mentioned something about windows, is nvidia detected there?

Yeah, i switched from windows not too long ago, and my nvidia card worked fine, when doing the switch the only thing i changed in the bios was disabling secure boot, so i dont think that i couldve disabled nvidia there, as i dont even know how to disable it lol. Some other people have suggested it may have to do with the UEFI, and when i go to that in my bios i can choose between legacy, uefi, and uefi csm. Currently i have that setting in uefi, do you think changing that would affect it?
