Manjaro fails to create partition

Im having problems installing manjaro linux. It cant create a partition on my hard drive. The partition from where i made free space out of was labeled as a logical drive on the windows partition manager. heres the error:

Create a new partition (23.44GiB, ext4) on ‘dev/sda’

Job: Create new partition on device ‘/dev/sda’

Command: sfdisk --force --append /dev/sda

Failed to add partition ‘New Partition’ to device ‘/dev/sda’.

As of this i am using the latest manjaro kde version Ruah 21.3.6 and i am trying to dual boot it with windows 7

from USB live manjaro
can you open a terminal and returns

inxi -Fza
sudo parted -l

You could try a different approach:

  1. create partitions within Win7 with a built-in tool called Disk Management
  2. launch Manjaro live USB, use Gparted (a GUI utility) to format the new partitions to ext4 (and a swap, if you want).
  3. then launch installer.

Here is what it returns:

The free space on your disk must first be integrated into your extended partition as you use already the four possible primary partitions of an msdos parted disk. This could be done either with Windoof tools or you use Gparted from a live install. Then you need to create another logical partition inside your extended partition. If this was successful, make sure to boot your install media in BIOS mode as you have Windoze installed in BIOS mode as well. This can be achieved by booting from the entry without UEFI in the name from your firmware.
