Manjaro does not detect Iphone hotspot

hi every one. I want to connect to my Iphone hotspot through wifi. the problem is manjaro does not detect my phone. I am already able to connect to my home wifi and i can see surrounding wifis and even the printers. before manjaro I was able to connect to the hotspot on windows10.
I tried to check for the drivers and every thing looks fine.

I wanted to include mu system info but I did not know how. sorry.

update 01: my system info.

update 02:

I already fixed the problem.
I just change the password of my iphone hotspot.
now the hot spot is visible and I can connect to it.

Is this connection using your Manjaro system - presumably a laptop?

If you are connected to your home wifi - why would you need to connect your laptop to your phone’s wifi?

In what sense?

Your laptop running Manjaro does not find the wifi hotspot provided by your phone?

Hi muzero!
Please check if your 4G/5G is on. Leave BT on for good measures.
Personal hotspot - allow
Take your lightning cable, connect it to your iPhone and USB port and wait until you see your network.
You should get either the password prompt or connect.

To plan for future cases where it may be your only network connection when 1) your home loses power 2) your ISP goes down 3) you are traveling.

If I turn on my iPhone hotspot before enabling WiFi I do not “see” a connection available for the hotspot. With WiFi on first, then enabling the hotspot, it is available. My RPi4 will not work with higher 5GHz frequencies, so sometimes I do not see the hotspot.

Your iPhone must be connected to a cell service, not home WiFi.

Hi @muzero

try:

inxi -Fxxx

It should give all details about your system.
I hope this helps.

thank you for your help
this is the output

yes it is a laptop,

the wifi unstable. I needed another connection.

that is right. my laptop does not see the iphone hotspot. even though I was able to connect to my phone from windows10.

Great - so in the process of changing the password - you actually enabled the hotspot

hmm, I do not really understand what happened. I turned the hotspot on and off many times but nothing changed. I think you are right, the password triggered something.

anyway thank you all for helping.
