Can confirm this; with the PP fully charged for me it lasts about two days and light usage (checking e-mail and surfing using Firefox once every few hours), with cellular network/data and bluetooth off and wifi on. Very very promising 
My PP has mobile set enabled… but sometimes it sleeps too deep and incoming calls could not be received. For me ATM the only problem in Manjaro on the PP
Did install Alpha3 (2020-09-13) on fresh Pinephone with no Sim card, it booted once and now boot and crash !!
