Make pageedit work from within sigil

hi

i use sigil to create ebooks - works fine except i cannot seem to make pageedit to work
in preferences i have to fill in the path to pageedit - wich i find under
/usr/share/applications/pageedit.desktop

however this does not work –

can anyone assist here?

i can run pageedit outside of sigil – however i would like to make it work from inside sigil

Let me put the emphasis on external editor - nor the sigil developers nor pageedit developers made it to work like a plugin inside sigil, so we can’t do it either.

Works with /usr/bin/pageedit.
