Macbook Pro does not have Sound Seems as Passive Button After Re-Installing PulseAudio

Modprobe model options in kernel for Cirrus Logic CS4206/4207 CS4208 are not likely to work for CS8409 audio codec and should be removed

Macbook Pro 2017 13" would be either MacbookPro 14,1 or MacbookPro 14,2
Both models have the same onboard audio device (Cirrus Logic CS8409) linux-hardware.org - pci:8086-9d71-8086-7270

The snd_hda_macbookpro driver has been confirmed to work in a previous topic from 2022

Macbookpro users have been sharing information on another github page but it has not been updated for a few years

With the MacBookPro14,1 the internal audio output is working, however the internal audio input is not working.

For the rest of the MacBook Pro models the audio via HDMI or any USB-connected audio device is working, so at least they can act as a workaround until internal audio is working.

snd_hda_macbookpro dkms driver is available in AUR since Nov 2023
aur.archlinux.org - snd-hda-macbookpro-dkms-git
But I cannot find any comments to confirm this is working on Arch/Manjaro with recent kernels

Switching between software audio servers is not likely to resolve an issue in ALSA

If OP also has MacBookPro14,2 the out-of-tree driver is less likely to get audio working
than a MacBookPro14,1
