I notice that the upgrade of perl from 5.40 to 5.42 breaks lyrion media server (aka logitechmediaserver), with errors like
Image::Scale (loaded 0.08 but missing object file, need 0.08)
XML::Parser:
Parser.pm and Expat.pm versions don't match at /opt/logitechmediaserver/CPAN/XML/Parser.pm line 20
Hopefully, somebody at the AUR site will fix this.
rebuild - did you rebuild - custom packages (may)(often) need rebuild - did you rebuild - if you did rebuild and still have issues - you must contact the maintainer of the custom package you are using or fix it yourself…
yes, I rebullt, tried lyrionmusicserve-bin, etc. all gave same error. You’re right, the maintainer will hopefully look into this

Normally, one needs to rebuild Perl packages when there’s a new version like we just had–5.4.0 > 5.4.2.
However, in this case the package is a binary release directly from upstream.
No real rush; not that I like it (for philosophical reasons) but docker image works fine.
