Low battery sound warning in Gnome

Hello,

It already happened to me two times. I did not notice that my battery was to low and the laptop shut down while working on a project. I am looking for a gnome program that gives me a warning sound when the battery is too low. Is there any program like that?
Thanks.

Nope, there used to be one but it’s not maintained any more. However, there are a few scripts out there that allow you to cron it yourself.

OTOH, KDE has this kind of functionality built-in and why I moved away from Gnome as it’s too simple for the tinkerers out there:

(Yup; that’s a Star Trek “Computer has initiated self-destruct sequence” when my battery is critically low and my computer is about to hibernate…)

:man_shrugging:

Thanks for the tips.
I take a look at those scripts.
