Login screen stripes after 21.0 clean installation in combination with disk encryption

Hello, I am new to Manjaro, want to come over from MX. ISO from USB starts fine, installation process works like charm, checked “disk encryption” during install. During (re-)boot the LUKS passphrase is requested in a text like window and I guess that’s causing my problem: the login screen and also after login the display shows vertical lines, clutter, everything’s hard to read. I then installed again, without disk encryption, and the screen is normal. My machine is a Lenovo E490 with Intel UHD 620 graphics from the i5. Using XFCE edition. Did anybody also face this problem with cluttered graphics and LUKS and maybe has a solution?
Thanks in advance, cheers Heiko

It would be nice and also helpful if you provided some systems info. In the meantime check your screen setup and compositors.

What @manyroads is trying to say is:

:+1: Welcome to Manjaro! :+1:

  1. Please read this:
    How to provide good information
and post some more information so we can see what’s really going on. Now we know the symptom of the disease, but we need some more probing to know where the origin lies…

  2. An inxi --admin --verbosity=7 --filter --no-host --width would be the minimum required information… (Personally Identifiable Information like serial numbers and MAC addresses will be filtered out by the above command)
Also, please copy-paste that output in-between 3 backticks ``` at the beginning and end of the code/text.

:+1:

P.S. If you enter a bit more details in your profile, we can also see which Desktop Environment you’re using, which CPU/GPU or Kernel, … you have without typing it every time
