According to this page an error like that can be caused by encryption problems. The answer was:

…please go into router settings and change encryption to wpa2 only if that option is available, then in network manager set the security to wpa/wpa2.
Reboot

Hmmm… already there:

Router:

Config:

So it seems it’s not that.

So it would seem, indeed. But try completely turning off your router and turning it on again. Check what happens in the logs as it’s down and when it comes back online.

Other than that, I have 0 idea where to go from here or what to do.

Hm. I restarted that several times in these days, to no avail.

It’s mainly a nuisance because the WiFi connection works perfectly. I also have a cable connection to the router (yes, I tried disconnecting the cable using just the wifi, same result), so basically, I have shut it off ;-).

It must be some driver/firmware issues; with kernel 6.6.whatever_we_have_now there are no messages.

As root simply do
wpa_cli log_level WARNING

Of course it’s a temporary fix.

Thanks, this works.

I understand that this is just hiding the thing under the carpet, but well… until there are no signals from the kernel, I think that this is the solution at least to the log spamming problem.
