Lockscreen stopped working as of recent updates

After some recent updates, my XFCE lockscreen (which starts the screensaver) no longer works. The command invoked by the lock screen button, xflock4, gives me the following error when executed directly.

** Message: 08:06:43.168: Received error message from the locker: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.UnknownMethod: Unknown method Lock or interface org.freedesktop.ScreenSaver.
'light-locker-command --lock' exited with status 1

It used to work fine before so I don’t know where I should look into.

EDIT: If I turn on screensaver from XScreenSaver settings’s Preview button, the screensaver works, including the lockscreen part if “Lock Screen after X minutes” is checked.

Never mind, I’ve worked this around.

In Whisker Menu → Commands, replace the lock screen command with xscreensaver-command --lock and now I can activate the screensaver using the lock screen button just like before.
