That depends on how you mount it.
It seems like you are using mount units - and that is a great way. But mount units for network shares will fail if the network is up.
There may be other causes as well… but this is the most common cause.
systemd home-ninja-Mounts-NAS-NAShome.mount: Failed with result 'exit-code'.

But with network devices you should really create a complementary automount unit.
Then disable the mount unit and enable the automount instead.
