LMMS 1.2.2-12 suddenly will not start anymore

I have been using LMMS for a few years now and until recently I’ve never had any problems. Now, when the app is started it briefly displays the splash screen after which it crashes. If it is started via terminal it outputs the following error message:

[1] 39104 segmentation fault (core dumped) lmms

That appears a little cryptic to someone with no programming knowledge. I would be much obliged if anyone might lend their time to help me.

Thank you! Sorry for opening a new thread on an already known problem. I did skim through the github issues but I did not know that “kwidgetaddons” was what I was looking for. Of course I could have simply installed the appimage but I felt it necessary to note that the Manjaro package was not working since I could not find the issue on the Manjaro forum. Thanks again for notifying me of these forum posts and the github issue!
