Llvm-libs update causing issues

Not sure which version started this problem.
Anything newer that 14.0.6-4 and opera browser won’t show graphics.
Anything older than 15.0.6-1 and alacritty won’t start.

I can supply more info if needed.
I assume this is known about and I also assume I just need to wait for an update?

Probably Opera and Alacritty have the same issue: OpenGL, therefore 3D Acceleration, is not working.

I wonder if llvm is really the root cause here.

I don’t know what the root cause is. I am just guessing from the testing that I showed above.
Hoping someone here knows more.
Or like I said I will just wait for the next update to see if that fixes my problem.
I don’t know where to look to see if a bug has been filed. But if as you say that llvm-libs is not the root problem the bug report won’t show anything anyway.

When I run alacritty from command line I get this:

[demo@Manjaro ~]$ alacritty
libEGL warning: DRI3: Screen seems not DRI3 capable
libEGL warning: DRI2: failed to authenticate
libEGL warning: MESA-LOADER: failed to open swrast: libLLVM-15.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory (search paths /usr/lib/dri, suffix _dri)

Error: [3001] initialization failed
Error: "Event loop terminated with code: 1"

Update.
Just put the latest version of lllvm-libs back in. Opera graphics now working.
The only thing I noticed is the screen was flashing a little.
I don’t know what solved the issue. Maybe a kernel update.
Well I report back if this happens again.
I will close this post.
