AFAIK linux-meta
package will apparently do a pacman -R ($packagelist)
to remove the old kernel and the old kernel-extra_modules when they will be replaced by a new stable enough kernel and extra_modules.
But, isn’t be better to do a pacman -Rns ($packagelist)
this way old linux*.preset in /etc/mkinitcpio.d/linux*.preset
that will become obsolete will be removed too?
