Is this just from NetworkManager telling you so or do you in fact have connection problems?
NetworkManager tries to ping a configured url, if that is not reachable you’ll get this notification. The network itself might be working flawlessly though.

Thank you for reply. I am having connection issues. I had Xfinity over and they got 450+Mgb at router. However, my computer is so slow I am having issues downloading small size files.

@kmk7x Please try this:

pamac install speedtest-cli
speedtest-cli

Check if the connection

  • computer → router

OR

  • computer → router → Internet

has a problem… Here is a little script for testing:

ping log watch ($2001562) · Snippets · Snippets · GitLab

curl -s "https://gitlab.com/-/snippets/2001562/raw/master/plwatch.sh" | sh

It writes a log file called ping_log.txt in the working dir.

Performed tasks as requested. The issue seems to be confined to this computer. Tried connections with chromebook and noted no issue. Results below.

Is there no router?
Are you using ipv6?
However the information of plwatch is faulty.

The first IP is the Gateway (normally a router) which comes from

ip route

Could you post it here?

That makes no sense… speedtest works, but you get 100% loss by a ping to google.com?

I have a Netgear nighthawk AC3200 WiFi Router (R8000) X6 Tri-Band. I reconnected everything and made sure all was secure. I re-ran the speed test and ping. ip route is added at the end. Thank you in advance.

You are using a tunnel… a VPN probably? That would explain the problems…

Btw… I adjusted the script. It should find now the default gateway and not the first IP on the list.

Thank you for the assistance. I am still showing limited connectivity. I will see how it performs over the next couple days.
