Libvirt networks failing to create firewall rules after update

I recently updated my system and now my duct-tape and chicken-wire VM setup is not working :frowning:

I initially noticed a problem when all of my Ubuntu guests gave a “network activation error”. After much digging, I realized that on the host, libvirt is not creating any firewall rules. That does not seem right.

In the journal logs, I only see one potentially problematic line

7/2/24 9:53 PM libvirtd.service End of file while reading data: Input/output error

However there’s not much to go on there.

Please advise on how to troubleshoot further, or let me know if this does not seem a Manjaro-specific issue.

This is a known issue affecting libvirt.

Thank you! Just found the gitlab issue myself and was about to post it. I’ll probably downgrade back to 10.3
