libKF5I18n.so.5: cannot open shared object file

Hi, somehow I cannot open some Application anymore.
If I try to start digikam are Kdenlive I get this error:

kdenlive: error while loading shared libraries: libKF5I18n.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

The libKF5I18n.so.5 file it located in /var/lib/flatpak/../.. on this System.

Where on my other Systems libKF5I18n.so.5 is located directly in /var/lib and there the Programs is working fine.

Anyone has a solution for me?

I try:

  • Mirror update
  • sudo pacman -Syyu
  • Packed reinstall

I dont know what flatpak you have that from.

But the normal repo package is ki18n which is part of the kf5 group, and required by a whole lot of stuff like kpmcore, kpipewire, systemd-kcm, etc.

So I’m guessing you should have that package installed.

I also don’t know why, but somehow I was on the
ki18n-git version after changing to ki18n everything is back to normal.

Thank you very much.
