LG UltraFine display not detected through Anker USB-C Hub

Hub: Anker Power Expand+ 7-in-1 USB-C PD Media Hub (Model A8346)
Monitor: LG 32UN880-B
Problem: No monitor detected when plugging in monitors original power & data usb-c wire to Ankers usb-c input port and Anker wire to pc.

Can I do something about this or is it something that needs a “patch”?

From what I see, there is no driver loaded… Maybe false positive.

Are you sure the Hub gets enough power on the HUB:

That makes no sense, if your hub provide USB3?

At least, what I can say: It must work in both situations. Drivers are loaded.
It could be just that the screen does not get enough power over the hub. Maybe the cable is too long or is low quality? If it works directly and not over the hub then I would say it is the cable. The longer the cable, the lower the current. And this has an impact on the functionality.

Is there some option in the BIOS (or rather UEFI) that you can set to allow connections through USB-C (or maybe it’s called Thunderbolt).

You plugged it in PD → Power Delivery

That makes sense now, why it doesn’t work. The contacts there are wired in such a way that it is ONLY optimized for transmitting power, and not for transmitting data. I have also such usb cables, which can only transmit power, not data.
